As the cliché said, “a picture is worth a thousand words". Putting quality picture can be a better way to demonstrate a company than a thousand words of story. This article illustrates five key points of how to make a right picture on social media to promote customer engagement. But I have one thing to add up. I think it is important to company to be honest. From a customer's view, it is more important to see a picture that can honestly show what the product is rather than see a mass of fancy pictures that has been photoshopped. The "right picture" is not only producing the best-looking picture to catching consumers’ eyes nut also delivers facts to customers. For example, sometime I bought something from online shopping site, but when the product delivered, I found it was not the same thing shows on the website picture, and most of time I may complain but I never back to that store again. So from a customer’s view, I would like to engage more with a company that tell me the truth and this is also a good way to increase customer engagement for a company.

Catrina Yang: I totally agree with you. Photo is obviously a good way for the company to promote its product/service because a good picture is worth a thousand words. Photo is everywhere nowadays, billboards and posters on the street, apps in smart phones and tablet PC. Company should use the appropriate photo to present its features which can improve the customer engagement

Catrina Yang: pictures or images are a great way in engaging consumers however not any photo will do instead the photo or image you choose to use should always relate back to the message you are trying to get across to your consumers about your product or service you have on offer. as the cliche goes "a picture is worth 1000 words" this is true many people can engage an relate more visually compared to reading a article or blog about a product. This is a good article on the importance of customer engagement.

Magnifique rappel à l'ordre à notre devoir d'intelligence et d'humanité, pour nous préserver des représentations simplistes et des stéréotypes. Merci !

Storytelling still retains its importance as an important element of learning. Students learn best when they are given the chance to compose. read, listen and create. Writing stories and sharing them with others is a great way for students to put their literacy skills in to practice. Below is a selection of good iPad apps selected to try with students.
