Tell compelling stories with Twitter on mobile or web | Twitter Blogs | Public Relations & Social Marketing Insight | Scoop.it

You’ve already seen this ecosystem in action: we use it to publish Moments on Twitter. And you may already be using some of the individual tools we’re talking about, such as TweetDeck and Curator. Today we announced a new Collections API that turns multiple Tweets into a single story with a single Collection ID, which can be used to edit, update and publish that story from any of the tools in our ecosystem.” Now you can easily turn unique Twitter content into great stories that attract, engage, and retain an audience.

Tell your story with the best Tweets, simply

Previously, when you wanted to publish a great story with Tweets, you had to manually manage a bunch of Tweet IDs, and embed them into your app or website one at a time. With our new end-to-end ecosystem, we’ve simplified the storytelling process. Now you can use TweetDeck, Curator, Spredfast, Dataminr, ScribbleLive, Wayin, or Flowics to find and organize the Tweets you want into a single story....

The Lowdown On Twitter Analytics

The Lowdown On Twitter Analytics | Public Relations & Social Marketing Insight | Scoop.it

If you’re a data wonk or just a social media nerd like me, you’re going to LOVE Twitter analytics. The good news is, its easy to acess and simple to use. Start by logging into your account.

Visit  https://analytics.twitter.com/user/[your twitter handle here]. You should see a blue box right up top that offers you access to your “Tweet Activity Dashboard.” Click it. If you don’t see the box, you can get to your analytics by visiting https://ads.twitter.com and selecting “Analytics” from the dropdown menu on top.

What Analytics Matter?
To determine what analytics are most valuable to you, start by revisiting your goals. What are you trying to accomplish through your social media presence? Is it reach (are you trying to reach the widest audience?)? If so, you’ll want to see when your tweets are getting the most organic reach and how your followers are trending. Are you growing your follower base? Is there a time when some tweets do better than others?...

Analyze Your Twitter Account with ReTweetLab for More ReTweets | Dan Zarrella

Analyze Your Twitter Account with ReTweetLab for More ReTweets | Dan Zarrella | Public Relations & Social Marketing Insight | Scoop.it

One of my favorite topics to research is ReTweeting. I have several very large (millions and hundreds of millions of rows) datasets that I use to do my analysis. The results of my research with these databases are best practices, generated across many industries, timezones, account types and languages. This data is a great starting point for your experimentation.

The best data is always your data.

So I created a free tool, ReTweetLab that allows you to do the same kind of analysis that I conduct on my large datasets on your account (or any other Twitter account you want).

Jeff Domansky's insight:

I can't say enough about that Zarrella. His knowledge of social media measurement is super and he is a super approachable, sharing guy. By creating this new, free, Twitter analytical tool, the insight you gain could not only increase the number of reTweets, it could make your overall effectiveness much higher.

ReTweet Lab instantly analyzes a segment of your personal or business Twitter stream and delivers up to a dozen benchmarks worth analyzing and taking action to improve what you do.

Highly recommended. 10/10

10 Twitter Tools You Need to Check Out in 2014 | CodeCondo

10 Twitter Tools You Need to Check Out in 2014 | CodeCondo | Public Relations & Social Marketing Insight | Scoop.it

I consider Twitter as a marketing tool, a way of catching up with the latest news, a great way of finding new friends and partnerships, even a way of getting support from companies which just seem to ignore you, despite the circumstances.

It’s many different things to all of us, but one thing is for sure – it can be enhanced with the help of 3rd party tools, if only to make us smile and think back on how we began our Twitter journey.

I’m actually not very big on tools, at least not when it comes to Twitter, but in this year alone – I’ve been able to collect a decent list of Twitter tools that I think you’ll like, and find useful. I hope that some of these help you out in one way or another, share the list with your friends to see what they think....

Alex Ivanovs has put together a great resource in these 10 Twitter tools which are nicely reviewed.
