Giving a presentation is an enormous and (sometimes) noble responsibility. After all, only you can prevent death by PowerPoint to your audience. Fortunately, several tips, tools and other resources can help you make slides to a higher level and make them more professional and captivating. We focus on PowerPoint for most models and additions down, simply because it is the most widely used business presentation software, but many principles and tricks here apply to other applications presentation. We will begin.

Speed and agility are traits that define our society today.We avoid reading extensive articles, watching long how-to videos on YouTube or checking websites that are hard to navigate as we usually look for quick and easy solutions. While a technological progress provides us with plenty of utilities, now finding the right one with user-friendly interface and relevant functions becomes a challenge. Presenting information in a crisp and concise way is something that we need daily needs such utilities as well. So we took our time to find tools that are time-efficient and offer some class in presenting yourself and/or your project....

The National Archives provides images, documents, and audio in an easy to use editor. When making a poster students can combine multiple images, change background colors, and create captions to make collages of digital artifacts. Interesting tools. May explore these apps as possible digital history tools for the presentation May 1st. Like the fact that both students and teachers can use some of these tools to create more interactive exhibit like pages around digital artifacts.

Following my first couple of weeks at Salesforce’s Desk.com, I created a deck called “50 Customer Service Quotes You NEED to Hang In Your Office,” which currently has more than 205,000 views. Right off the bat I knew this was going to be a great deck and would receive a lot of attention — people love quotes and they love to tweet about them. However, I did not want users to be limited to only sharing the deck along with the title. I wanted viewers to actually tweet the quotes! That is why I came up with a way for viewers to tweet an actual quote from an individual slide. “You will live 7.5 minutes longer than you would have otherwise, just because you watched this talk.
”This was the claim that video game designer Jane McGonigal presented to the crowd during her June 2012 TED talk. As the camera panned over the members of the audience, their faces showed universal skepticism: Was this lady serious?
There was something else interesting about that crowd. Despite their doubtful visages, everyone in the audience was drawn in by McGonigal’s words. No one was checking their email, talking to their neighbor or looking at the camera circling in front of them; all eyes were fixated on the (potentially crazy) speaker.
Great hooks, like McGonigal’s provocative opening statement, get audiences on the edge of their seats and give them a sense of what’s coming. They allow you to win a crowd’s attention right away and give you a legitimate chance to have a lasting impact....
