How to make an Arduino shield with Eagle CAD | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

We have chosen this one because, as you know as an Arduino’s fan, the official pcbs and schematic files of the boards are developed and available free of charge to everybody in Eaglecad format; you can find also a lot of libraries and circuits made by famous DIY website (Sparkfun for first) available for free.

Arduino Controlled Hexbug Spider

Arduino Controlled Hexbug Spider | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

This is a small walking robot that uses an Arduino nano & an ultrasonic sensor for range finding. I started off purchasing a small plastic walking robot with a IR remote control, they are available at radioshack for $25.00. With this you can make the robot autonomous & obstacle avoiding. My project began by opening the casing, I found two IC's on the control board, a motor controller & on the other side a small processor.

RC Car Meets Arduino: RCArduino Yaw Control

RC Car Meets Arduino: RCArduino Yaw Control | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

Race orientated RC Cars are powerful enough to reach scale speeds of 600 miles per hour. Stability solutions currently available try to address this excess power by actively steering into skids however this approach cannot hope to match up to the vast amounts of power resulting in frustration, broken cars and lost interest.

Using Arduino and IR distance sensors to create a simple radar

Using Arduino and IR distance sensors to create a simple radar | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

Arduino enthusiast Lucky Larry has used a Sharp Infra-Red distance sensor, servos, Arduino and the Processing language to create a simple yet interesting radar-sweep display. The sensor is rotated on a 180-degree sweep using a servo, and the distance data is sent back to the PC via an Arduino.

How to Read a ROM with an Arduino Board

How to Read a ROM with an Arduino Board | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

Dumping the contents of a ROM onto your computer is surprisingly simple. All you need to get started is:

- An Arduino Mega or similar board 1 (you’ll need at least 24 I/O pins).
- A breadboard
- An EPROM to read
- Some wires and a wire stripper
- Your wits 2

That’s all. Gather your materials and let’s get cracking!

Using old floppy drives as musical instruments with Arduino

Using old floppy drives as musical instruments with Arduino | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

By now the interested Arduino enthusiast will have seen the videos on the Internet of various sounds and songs being made with floppy disk drives. The stuttering of one or more drives in sequence can produce some credible noises. However actually moving forward and making your own FDD orchestra may have been a mystery - until now.

Forum quick-typer uses Leonardo and keypad for common phrases

Forum quick-typer uses Leonardo and keypad for common phrases | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

I find myself often typing in the same links when answering forum questions, and wanted to automate the process a bit.

Example: http://www.gammon.com.au/interrupts

Previously I had a list of them in one place (on a Stickies document on the Mac) but still had to switch apps, highlight, copy, switch back, paste.

Then with the Leonardo and its ability to emulate a keyboard I saw an opportunity.

RC Rocket Launch System

RC Rocket Launch System | Arduino progz | Scoop.it

This instructable will show you how to make an RC launch system for your Estes rocket, which can be operated with a TV remote. What it does is it allows you to press the center button on your TV remote, and it'll automatically launch your rocket. In this way it is basically a wireless version of the standard launch controller. But this is not all it does.

Many folks here at IDEO know how to quickly get something up and running on Arduino, so we figured we should make an Arduino shield for a Bluetooth Module. Moreover, instead of Bluetooth-to-Bluetooth connection (which can be mimicked using Xbee radios), we focused on Bluetooth-to-iOS.
